Frédéric MalleRose Tonnerre
Dark, earth-bound petals sharpened by the sting of fermented wine lees
Rose Tonnerre defies the standard floral script, opening with the sharp, acidic bite of wine lees and raw Turkish rose. Beneath the bloom, a heavy layer of black truffle and castoreum drags the scent into the damp earth, trading softness for a rugged, woody depth. Honey cuts through the dampness just enough to add a flicker of sweetness before the patchouli and dry vetiver anchor it firmly on the skin. It possesses a persistent, structural weight that refuses to fade, lingering on fabrics with a dark, animalic musk long after the first spray.
