Ibrahim Al QurashiIconic Oud leather
Raw leather softened by iris and a veil of dark incense smoke
Black pepper provides a sharp, dry front, immediately giving way to the tannic bite of leather and dense, resinous oud. It feels heavy and textural, yet the heart shifts unexpectedly into the cool, powdery territory of iris. The dry down trades the initial aggression for a smoother finish; tonka bean and vanilla emerge to round out the cedar base, pulling the scent away from pure woody rot into something refined and slightly sweet. It clings to garments for days, holding its ground with a persistent, incense-laden trail.
