It starts on a bright, citrus-edged crispness, but quickly softens into the waxy richness of Madagascan Ylang-Ylang and lotus. There is a strange, cooling quality to the oleander that prevents the fruitiness from becoming cloying, keeping the scent airy even under the heat. As the hours pass, the scent settles into a base of raw beeswax and frankincense, pulled into the shadows by a dark, dry patchouli. It lingers on the skin with a woody, musk-heavy projection that feels grounded rather than fleeting, maintaining a quiet, resinous presence well into the evening.
